8mm & Super8 Film Transfer to Video
Your film is professionally prepared prior to conversion.
First your film is inspected for broken perforations, severe bends,
bad splices and necessary repairs are made. Next, your film is
thoroughly cleaned using Edwal Anti-Stat Film Cleaner (a mixture
of tetrachloroethylene and isopropanol).
Then using a modified projector, your film is captured into the computer frame by frame which eleminates
any flicker effect commonly associated with old projectors. In the computer, your film is color corrected and
the brightness and contrast is adjusted. Finally, background music is added to your film.
When all of this is completed, your film is burned onto a DVD where
chapter markers and scene selections are added.

We can also convert still images from VHS, MiniDV, or 8mm video to prints. Client needs to supply exact location on video by providing a description or timecode.
